Need ideas on how to spend £500 (Netbook and Tablet?)

Hi,

I won a thing at work, yay me, they have given me a £500 budget to buy something as a prize to present to me.

My wife has been recently looking at getting a netbook, which she would use for Microsoft Office, Web stuff, a bit of video watching and simple photo editing.

And I was hoping I could get a, Android Tablet out of it... or at worst a kindle but having played with a kindle I am now not so keen.

I was tempted by the Lenovo x121e at £300 or an Acer Aspire One 533 at £250 but that leaves not much of a margin for a Tablet with Android 3.0 how is Android 2.2 or 2.3 compared to 3.0 or 3.1?

So I am asking for help on what to get... as I am struggling to figure out what I am looking for...

oh well... look like I am going for the lenovo x121e as I found the higher end version for 328 and will get the kindle 3G keyboard.

After an argument with the wife its now just going to be the lenovo x121e with 8GBs of ram and a slip case for her and nothing for me

I'd order less RAM and order more elsewhere and fit it yourself, seems pricey to fit the 8GB direct with Lenovo

I'm not paying for it so I am not fussed so long as the missus is happy and she doesn't with hold
