Need info on a set of Rogers speakers..

I don't have a mate called Roger but I have a set of Rogers GS1 speakers that are now in my possession.

All boxed up, courier sticker on the front says they were delivered some time in '97 to the original owner (my dad).

I'm trying to find out about them but am not being very succesful, anyone know/heard of this model or know where I might find out?

ived used studio rogers at work for decades, fantastic speakers.

Never heard of the model you mention though.

They are a set of "Gold Series", as I said all boxed up just know naff all about them.

I'm not a hi fi person really, but when we get a new telly I was thinking of using them along with his amp (Kenwood 3030R) for a stereo home cinema type thing, not fussed on surround
