Hi everyone,

OK I'm going to be using the corsair SP and AF fans in my new build, planning on having six SP fans attached to a 360 radiator up top, one AF120 in the back and 3 AF120s in the front, this is all inside the 900D, so that makes a total of ten fans altogether so I'll need two Corsair Link Cooling Nodes as they can run five fans each, just need clarification off anybody that's had experience with this peace of kit or anybody that generally knows how it works, once I have all my fans connected to the cooling kit can I change the rpm speed like on a bay fan controller or do they just run at max speed? like say if the fans run max speed at 2000rpms could I set them to 1500rpms? I'm looking at this particular piece of kit as an alternative to a bay controller.

The fans are going to be connected to the cooling node, then from the cooling node it connects to the Corsair Link Commander (Silver box), then the Commander goes to your internal USB connector on the motherboard. All functionality from monitoring and customizing your fan rpm will be accessed via Corsair Link Software. There are no physical nob to control fans and LEDs, it has to be done from Corsair Link.

btw, I'd recommend that you get the SP120 PWM fans (4pin) rather than the 3pin, as they are optimized for the latest Corsair Link Software which is 2.4.4948 version.
