need laptop advice

hi,

iv posted in here a few times about getting a laptop but i just kept puttin it off..

time has come when i need one quite badly so i need some advice.

I think asus is probably the best machine for me. Any other asus laptop users out there?

Reviews are all pretty good and the prices are reasonable.

Acers also have some nice prices but im not sure which is best to go for.

Im looking a core 2 duo with a half decent graphics card.

It also has to be something around 15"

Any help and advice would be appreciated.

I know OCUk dont sell either of these kind of lappies so can someone recommend me a seller? If its not for these forums then please email me in trust.

yeah Asus and HP (NC8430 i think) and Zepto (google em) i would recommend for a 15" laptop.

for 17" Dell u can get some good deals with coupons etc & the outlet.
 
which 17" Asus laptop you thinking about to compare

Can you find one with the same or equivalent spec to my rig for less than £1k ? (i was looking for one a few months ago)

thanks for the help guys... id never heard heard of asus laptops before but the specs are really good especially in the F3 range.

I read somewhere that they are the fastest growing laptop in terms of sales/popularity in the world.

As I said I was looking for core 2 duo.. sonys have this but are way too expensive.. acers do aswell but their graphics cards arent as good for the ones youd get in an asus for same price.

Will have to think it over and see what comes up!
