Hi all. I posted in OCZ forum but got no response. I contacted the company that built the system to my spec but got a confused response! So...

I have a MSI P6N SLI mobo with a 6700 CPU. At present it has OCZ 6400 2 x 1GB RAM. This RAM is described as having 4 5 5 15. I have it in dual channell.

I want to add more RAM at the present low prices but what can it take?

I see lots of RAM showing 4 4 4 15. Would that make a differance if mine are not the same. In the past I have just dropped extra RAM in with no problem. But the timings are making me doubt if this can be done.

Can I ignore the timings on RAM and just drop another 2GB of RAM in as long as its 6400?

If you stick it in the new the RAM will run at the same as the one that is already in there, just change the timings if need be.

I have just removed the ram to check the details it is:
OCZ Gold revision 2 6400 with 4 5 5 15 and number OCZ2G800R22GK.
Sadly I can't see any on the OC site :(
