Need a motherboard for my build, about £150 max unless i can save money elsewhere. Also if you could check over my choices it would be helpful, this is my first build.

I want to put a second 570 in later on, also add an SSD as the boot device, maybe also a second hdd.

Feel free to offer alternatives if applicable.

Thanks for any/all help.

Thankyou for both the suggestions, i've put in both to basket for the moment. I'll be paid at the end of the month, its possible i wont have exactly enough for the whole build this month which is a bit of a drag, if that's the case and i have to wait for next months pay packet, will a z77 board be available at similar price range, but as an upgrade? OR are they going to be pretty pricey across the range?

What about changing the graphics card to this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-124-EA&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=1830

As they are about the same speed.

I'm looking to future proof the build for a few years (Not to the standard of people on these forums, but if it runs games on high for now and medium in 3 years time im happy), in which case will the performance be exactly the same between the two configs? 480 / 480 sli and 570 /570 sli?

I'm an enthusiastic novice, so i can easily distinguish between whats better by means of "580 is better than 560" but i find issue comparing 4xx and 5xx. Thanks again for the help guys.

EDIT: I'll look into some of the other suggestions you've made thanks, as for the cooler i have seen the noctua elsewhere cheaper, so im none to worried about the price on that one item. However it's probably important to note i've not overclocked before, so i will but i will in no means be pushing it, 4GHz as an example, so i'm probably looking for absolute quiet from the cooler.

if you can get a gtx570 then do it, quieter and faster (especially if its a oc model like this gainward/evga or gigabyte)

better motherboard than suggested above also with better oc abilities.

i'm looking to future proof the build for a few years (not to the standard of people on these forums, but if it runs games on high for now and medium in 3 years time im happy), in which case will the performance be exactly the same between the two configs? 480 / 480 sli and 570 /570 sli?

gtx570 sli vs gtx480 sli (stock cards) - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/307?vs=310

so i'm probably looking for absolute quiet from the cooler.

If you want quietness then definitely dont go with the GTX 480

It's not so much that im going for quietness, it's just if at a similar pricepoint i can get quieter, and with the fact that heat isnt much of an issue atm, i'll go for it.

I think i'll probably stick to the 570 option, but ive got lots to choose from for some other parts so im really grateful thanks.

I'd rather not get B grade, preferring to wait a month if required to get something new.

So my basket as now is pretty much this:

The k2 will definitely fit in the 600t ok? I'm pretty happy with this spec if it's all compatible / trusted brands.

EDIT: Easy way to post basket? i notice everyone seems to follow the same format, i find it hard to believe each time you guys are getting individual item urls and hyperlinking :D?

Dude you are paying too much for the OS......use the OEM that the other guys have been using for £80 ;)

If you use google chrome as a web browser there is a plug in to help link your basket :)

Two cheaper options for the RAM (i prefer the look of the kingston over the crucial) both are low profile and i linked the cheaper OS
