The time has come, i feel 2x 22"s are great, but 3's even better, right? :D

My current setup:

Motherboard: MSI neo-f p43
Graphic card: Nvidia 9600GSO

The problem that i'm facing is that the MSI board only has one PCI-E x16 slot, meaning i'm limited to one card.

My outcome is to be able to have up to 4 monitors, if not more.

1 Card for Gaming
1 for Monitor expansion

Problem? I run Linux, atm i'm using Ubuntu 10.04 how do cards stack up with this am i going to run in to issues? Nvidia or ATI?

Very, very occasionally i reboot (Dual-boot) in to Windows and i'll be attending college where we'll we working with Windows for around a year so i have a feeling that i'll be using it a lot more than i'd like to.

OK, so the question. What can i do?

Oh, also budget - cheap as possible. Second hand is not a problem as long as it's OK.

Thankles. :p

Buy a card that supports three monitors or buy a new motherboard with two PCI=E slots and run your 9600 along with another card. Or you could buy a PCI graphics card if you have room.

My 9600GSO gets stupidly hot though. But i was planning on either selling it and buying two new cards or getting another one to go with it. Someone i know was selling an 8800GTX, any good?

Wait for the 6000 series to come out later this year. They should be able to support three or more monitors on one card.
