I've been reading AM2+ board reviews today, and any that have had 3 PCI-E slots intended for graphics 2 of those have worked fine for other types of PCI-E cards. But yeah the ports are supposed to be backwards compatible (if that's the correct phrasing).
Thank you. I'm building a new rig with all new components apart from the tv card i'll take from my old system. Just wanted to make sure the cards wouldn't physically damage the ports before I tryed it out.
