Hi Guys spec below and need new card for Battlefront beta as i only the below

CPU - i7
Ram - 16GB dont know the make
Mobo - Gigabyte x79 2011 ud3
PSU OCZ 1000 Watt
GPU Card - 660 - Min is 680.

Any idea which to buy in price range 2-300?

For budget I would say 970 and add a 2nd at a later date when much cheaper. If can afford it, save a bit and go for the 980Ti, such a great card!

I had AMD card (2x 5870s) for a long time before this and really feel nvidia have the best cards out at the moment
 
i'd personally go R9 390, gets roughly same fps as a 970 at 1080 cpl more in most games.

About the same price but if you want to go higher than 1080p to 1440 or 4k it will still handle it perfectly fine and it edges the gap more at those frames with it having 8GB Vram as to the 3.5Gb on the 970.
 
Right, been giving by the wife a more budget s(I did pay for her holiday this year) So i have 1k maybe 50-100 more so going for the 980ti and looking to get a G-sync monitor so can anyone pick these item that would work well or value for money as dont just want to buy any 980ti or monitors... thanks a bunch lads :D
