need new case aluminium

matdom, on my opinion you have to decide firstly why specifically you want an aluminium chassis and then the ugliness will be just a side effect. There obviously are upsides to have a full aluminium case but there are downsides as well connected mainly with price, design due to target customers willing to pay that price and general competition in that market niche.

seeking something simple but have very good internal management, and air flow.

Fractal define R4.

Is not fully aluminium, actually has no aluminium, it's all steel.

Define simple. It can be with simple sculls and simple LED strips on the outside. :D Fun aside, just roam the ocuk website and all the Lian-Li cases. As I said this is a very niche market so there are not going to be many happy users (not to say that the few users are not going to be happy!) to brag about their systems and recommend you a specific solution. Chose several ones you like on the outside and give us some more info to work with so we can help you choose the best one for you.

Front panel is aluminium.

Not really, it's plastic with brushed aluminium finish/texture. :) They succeeded though if they can fool people it really is aluminium. I myself have a Arc Midi and it has the same finish which does not look as good rounded edges but is not that bad either.

Two simple black lian li cases with improved cable management, I'm interested in the windowed model it looks class. Due this month.

Finally, a replacement for my ageing PC6070!

Edit: Actually, I'm wondering about those HDD enclosures - it looks like they're just suspended, I can imagine a vibration problem.

Do you want the chassis to be aluminum too? Or would a steel chassis with aluminum panels/front fascia's be ok??
