Need new cheapish PS with 8-pin connector

Specs are:

i5 750
MSI mobo
4 gig
2 HD's
1 SSD 120gb
R9 280

My old psu was Enermax 650w but it doesn't have an 8-pin connector...

I'm looking at the Corsair CS550M 80 plus gold, are there any better option before I buy?

I'll be upgrading soon but only to a newer i5 with 8gb ram with perhaps a small overclock but probably not for a while.

It's a old Enermax Noisetaker so it's getting on a bit!

Doesn't work, won't boot. Fans spin but that's it.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Plus I have other problems as well atm.

I see more upgrades in the near future!
