Need New Gaming Headset!

Ok so i'm needing a new headset as my Astro A40's are on the way out.

Now I play mainly CS GO but do play other games too.

The headsets I am looking at

- Sennheiser GAME ZERO

- Sennheiser GAME ONE

- Sennheiser HD 558

Does anyone have any recommendations or advise???

For CS:GO you want something that gives the best surround positioning. What sound card have you got?

Philips Fidelio X2

I use the X1 and the sound stage is superb, also using the same sound card. I hear things other players in my team don't honestly pin point the tiniest detail.

Am I right in saying this doesn't come with a microphone?

The Sennheiser HD558 you listed doesn't have a mic either, so it's inclusion wasn't obvious

As you already have a good sound card get the Hyper X Cloud and save yourself a hundred quid.

Yeah that's true. Tbh mics on headset normal low quality. Get yourself a snowball and you set up

Not a good time to buy Fidelio X2s - they are having issues with trim coming adrift, glue on the ear cushions and dye leeching out of the fabric.

Get the HyperX Clouds.

The Game One and Game Zero have what is probably the best microphone of any headset and use the same driver units as the HD558 and HD598, so they are basically charging around £40 ~ £50 for the microphone.
