need new gearbox for polo mk 3

First you will need to know the gearbox code, i had this trouble with my golf but managed to find my haynes manual and its in there.

Once youve got it, go to www.yell.com and search for car parts/gearbox/scrap yards and start ringing around.

You can try www.volksmine.co.uk as the carry second hand parts.

Tbh you will be better spending a bit more and getting a reconditioned one, used ones are cheaper but you cant verify the mileage and you never know when they will go again!
