Need new keyboard, suggestions?

I have the lycosa, and it is lovely to type on. The rubberised keys are pleasant to the touch. My only gripe is that you cannot see the keys with the backlight off, unless in a very well lit room. In this way, the silver arctosa may be better, although lacking the rubberised keys.

yeah i ordered the arctosa, couldn';t justify the price of the lycosa seens as i could see no real differences. However i hope those keys dont rub off becuse mysaitek one did that. i mean i know where all the keys are anyway but its just a silly design floor.

Let us know how you get on with this, am curious to hear what it's like :)

Well its nice to know how moronic overclockers are as usual. I ordered it and the title was black/silver the invoice says black/silver and the shipping email says blacksilver. But now they send me a black version and i check the website and they have changed it to say black. Con merchants. Im so fed up of overclockers constantly screwing me around. That is disgusting because my parents cannot read the black version at all. I cant read it, though i dont need letters.

Instead of telling me they have black keyed ones they changed the description and sent me a black one. I presume black/silver means that the style is black with silver keys. Otherwize i see no reason why it has been changed. Plus it is totaly stupid to claim black/silver and randomly send you a black or a silver one because many people like to be able to see their keys. Now im stuck with the problem of not having a keyboard if i send this back.

They only make a black version... whats wrong with a black keyboard with silver keys, how can you not see the letters? Or do you mean you have been sent a black keyboard with black keys? In which case yes thats stupid lol

i mean there is a "black" version with black letters and a version with silver letters. They claimed it was silver, sent me black and then changed the details of it on the website. I have proof its not what it said when i bought it via invoice emails and shipping emails.

I just had to get a new keyboard and struggled to find one I liked. I absolutely have to have one with the double height return key. I just cant get used to the half height jobbers.

I plumped for a Cherry Cymotion in the end. It seems pretty nice, nothing fancy about it.

Well if you have proof then you have every right to get a refund/replacement :)

i have a g15 and like that before that i use a microsoft reclusa which was a good board also but i prefer the g15 for the display, i like to keep my eye on cpu/ram :)

That it is but i love this thing. I have had many Razer products in the past, they never fail to disappoint (I'm not a fan boy I just recognise quality when I see it ;)) This keyboard cost me 77 quid when I first bought it, can't believe how cheap they are going for now!

Agreed :)

I paid £75 for my Razer Tarantula keyboard & battle light (shouldnt have bothered with the light, only a waste of money imo).

Deffinitly a top quality keyboard, if you have the space (get measurements) I do advise this one or a lycosa.
