Hi guys,
Looking for a new motherboard to replace the 780i that I bought a week or so ago. I had some problems with my computer and it all pointed towards the mb. I spoke to the company I bought the mb from and they said they have occurred many issues and problems with the 780i but even though they aren't faulty and seem fine, they do have a compatibility problems with some hardware.
They provided me with a few solutions... even tho they aren't sli compatible, they mentioned P35, x38 & x48. All of these are crossfire, but are suppose to be the nuts for intel chips and perform the best.
What type would you recommend; P35, x38 or x48? or would you suggest going for a SLI board; 680i, 750i or 790i?
System:
Intel Wolfdale 3.16
4GB Corsair Dominator DDR2
BFG 8800GTX 768mb DDR3
