Need new mobo, CPU, Ram

hey !
me name is matt new to forums but not OC.uk

well i just sold my mobo.. CPU and ram..
and i need new 1s


So if people would give me good ideas that would be great thanks
so first of all im goin save aroind 250-300 quid..
anything less the better to be honest


so AMD quad core (cheapest 1) im want it and wil get it

here is where i need help tryin get best cash/performance

I want a mobo which looks nice don't want SLI or Crossfire
so a AM3 mobo can overclock nice but with that i want
DDR3 memory which goes well with both my CPU and mobo..
2x2GB sticks as i want 4GB ram


Plus i wanted to ask you know on some mobo in the infor it says like 1800(OC) and liek 1600(OC) but then 1333Mhz with no OC?
im not sure what tht means? do it mean u can put a 1600MhzDDR3 stick in but you have to downclock it thn OC the CPU to get it bk to 1600Mhz :S

i was looking and the CPU is AM2+ DDR 1066Mhz will it work with DDR3 1333Mhz..
or should i just add a extra 17 quid and get the

a 940 wont go in a am3 mobo as it has 940 pins instead of 938 aka am3 .............

The motherboard shown from poster above is out of stock and the one I have shown is a newer chipset so it will clock better, and it was only an extra 6 pound for higher speed ram that will help overclocking(maybe not now but in future with newer processors if you upgrade)

Well im not gettin atm anywayz i only have around 140 get paided again in around a week or so..
so itz goin be a gd week or maybe 3 weeks dependin on how well i save really.
Plus i won;t be doing postage as i am from chess so Overclockers is not far like a 5-10mins walk ! w00t

Plus i need a CPU cooler 4got unless the 1 i get with the CPU is ok and keeps it around 30-40C none OC... does anyone know if it would?

I will get a 3rd Party CPU cooler but if i can get l8r stage would help as i am goin be college in a month and i need save cash for that lol... bad times for me and my cash

I believe all of the AMD chips sold by OcUK are retail versions which come with their own coolers. The 955BE stock isnt "that" bad if your not planning on OC'ing it too high.

No idea on the temps though, that will depend on a lot of other things such case / airflow...
