Hey, looking to update my system a bit. The parts which let my current rig down is my CPU - e2180 (2.0GHZ 1mb cache) and my 2GB ddr2 RAM. My GPU is a Radeon HD 5770 so that is fine, and also my powersupply is a Corsair HX520w so im guessing that okay too?

Any ideas? Price range is about £300 I guess. Would I be able to squeeze an i7 in there or is it looking unlikely?

Cheers, Ben.

they are dual core, and at 4ghz they are quick.

or you can try a i5 quad core setup, and overclock it yourself, but would probably need a performance heatsink.

So long the i3 is better than my e2180 that seems like quite a good easy way to get a good rig.

I have done a bit of overclocking in the past but like the idea of somone else doing it beforehand without having the headache of doing it myself.

Ocuk would not supply a cooler which would not be upto the job, I think some of reviews were from when I think the package may of come with the Corsair H50 water cooler.
