Hiya guys, I am after a new PC, about 5 years ago I bought one from somewhere else.. which has been amazing, but its time to upgrade. I paid about £600 for the one i have now, here are it's specs:

Windows: Microsoft Windows 8.1 Professional 64 Bit
Memory (RAM): 6144 MB
CPU Info: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz
CPU Speed: 3002.9 MHz
Sound Card: Asus Xonar DX
Display Adapters: AMD Radeon HD 7750 1GB DDR
Hard Disks: 1TB
Motherboard: ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5Q-PRO

Now I have a £800 budget, all I need is a tower, no keyboard or monitor etc, and I do not need an OS.

I was wondering what would be a good system to buy that would be a lot more powerful than the above one. I don't want to spend £800 for a similar spec PC I am hoping for something much faster, to be used mainly for gaming, multi tasking, and video (entertainment).

Sorry for delayed reply, no all I need is the Tower, as in components as well, I have a monitor, keyboard, speakers, mouse, and I also have a retail Windows 8.1 so I am literally needing only the tower, including the case :)

I wont be building it myself, I just wanna buy a PC (tower only) with a £700 - £800 budget. Again something much better than the specs on my current (in first post) many thanksss

Anything above is going to be night and day compared to your current system

Easily.

What you want is to ask for £740 specs, then link your fave spec in the Customer Service forum and ask OcUK to build it for you. Total should then be around £800.

You would get better value going with the components above, the 290 is great value for money and the K processor gives you the option to overclock.

Still not as good value and you're stuck with 2GB VRAM which may become a problem in the near future.
