I currently have Netgear PL1000 series adaptors which are the 1Gbit ones, but I am having headaches as they seem to have a sleep mode that you can't turn off on them.
For whatever reason this means when they wake up I seem to lose internet bandwidth (goes from 35mbps to around 6mbps) and my latency goes up from 20ms~ to 150ms~.
If I simply reboot the powerline adaptor at the wall then it's all back to normal again. Checking online this seems to be quite a common problem with these devices and Netgear doesn't allow you to disable the feature.
Can anyone recommend any models that don't suffer from this problem? I need 3 in total.
