need new ram

hello there i need new ram.

i currently have geil pc6400 wich im selling for 25 pounds and im looking for another 2gb cheap, is the OCZ platinum any good at all or should i put more money to it and get somthing a bit better?

sorry for late reply was away.

geil has a imcompatability glitch with my mobo and you cant use manual timings at over 350fsb so im running auto 5-6-6-18 lol at 389mhz.

so im selling the ram to a friend who has same ram and needs 2gb more

how do i check memorys compatability with my motherboard please?

doesnt have hardly any 1024mb on there let alone any decent vendors appart from a few :S
