Hi guys, complete noob advice needed!
I have PhenomII [email protected], Gigabyte MA790FX-DQ6, 2x2GB 2x1GB DDR2 (I know), 1GB 5870, Corsair H50 in push>pull.
I've pushed it with AMD overdrive up to 3.9GHz but I'd like to permanently boost it to at least that using the BIOS etc.
Never done this before... could you please give me an idea where to start and what to do?
Is my motherboard going to handle it, what's the best way to go about it, and what should I do to maintain it etc?
Hoping you seasoned overclockers can help to get me started. I'm about to get my teeth into Far Cry 4 and my PC needs all the help it can get
