Hi all,

just need advice please.

i have a Ryzen 5 3600 with the stock cooler with a Lian Li lancool (i think its lancool) case.

i have a Rx5700 Red Dragon GPU.

rams at 3200 -c16

can i use the stock cooler to overclock? Just looking to maximise the benefits of the system and the overclock wlways helps.

Nice thank you :) thats a reasonable price to pay to get the best out of the system.
Is it best to wait until the new cooler to overclock?

i did hear the ryzen have a much better CPu cooler

Looking at the base plate design of the CR-1000 from the photographs I have to question how effective it would be. There is quite a gap between the copper heatpipes and this appears to be filled with air and an aluminium heatsink neither of which are going to be very good at dissipating heat especially for a chiplet based CPU. Also I can't seem to find any reviews of the cooler which also makes it hard to reccomend. For someone wanting to "get the best out of the system" there are much better options out there, but with everything if you want the best you will have to pay more for it. A decent very reasonably priced cooler with excellent cooling efficiency would be the Scythe Mugen 5 if you look at the pictures of the base plate you can see that there is no air or aluminium between the pipes as it has a solid copper base plate which will transfer the heat between the pipes and dissipate it very effectively. There are no problems finding reviews for this cooler.

Brilliant :) thats actually a very good cooler. What i mean by the best out of a system is basically enable it to perform the best it can....i suppose its what we pay for at the end of the day
