Hi all,
I have just bought a new case and GPU and realised that my old PSU isn't powerful enough for it. What I already have:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600
Motherboard: MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI M-ATX
RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 2x8GB DDR4 3200MHz
What I just bought:
GPU: ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge LHR 8GB GDDR6
Case: MSI MAG FORGE M100R Mini-Tower 4 fans
I currently have a 550w PSU but thought I need to upgrade, is 650w reasonable, or should I settle for 600w or 700w?
Many Thanks!

You can't go too powerful tbh, so if there's a good deal to be had, get the biggest one possible, then the PSU is barely breaking a sweat and usually the fan will barely if at all spin thus silence and no stress on it.

Plus you get the bonus of a bit of future upgrade headroom for more thirsty hardware when you upgrade ;)

I'm pretty sure I have the Corsair TX550M but I'm not sure about whether it is Gold or Bronze rated. Do you think it is enough? Is there a need to upgrade?

if you bought that tx550m within the last 5 or so years it would've been the 80plus gold rated version

the first series tx550m would have the TX in a yellow colour

that tx550m gold is more than sufficient. no need to change
