Hello

I'm sat by my PC and to be honest, I know it's going to be loud using the stock cooler for my 3700x but I also have 2 Corsair CO-9050044-WW ML Series ML140 and stock fans that came with my case from OCUK *HERE*

But the noise is pretty dire to be honest!

Is there any super quite but effective fans

I recently got a NZXT H500 case and swapped the stock case fans for a 120mm PWM be quiet! Silent Wings 3 and a 140mm PWM be quiet! Silent Wings 3 fan. They are really quiet and effective, even at full blast i can only just hear them.

I am probably going to get 2 more 140mm fans for the front of the H500 too.

I also have some be quiet silent wing fans and yes they are fairly silent. Although I imagine that all fans get loud near to their max rpm. Do you know how fast your fans are going when they get loud? or are they loud all the time (even at idle)?

2 yrs ago I got my daughter a NZXT H700 case and put the max 3 120 fans in the front, swapped out the 140mm fan in the back with a 120mm fan (due to mobo obstruction I think) and a 280mm AIO in the roof - so 6 fans. My theory was that more fans = more airflow = cooler = fans don't need to spin as much. I think that I made a mistake as they all spin up and with 6 fans going it is quiet noisy. I suspect that it would be quitter with fewer fans.

Everything just seems loud in general. Not sure how I'll find what speed they're at on my desktop.

I'd understand if it was during gaming but it's a pain when just browsing the Web they're just as loud

As said, be quiet! Silent Wings 3 are best, but also quite expensive.
Phanteks PH-F140MP are good and not expensive in 2-pack for £16.26

New Arctic P140 are looking to be decent fans with price ranging from £5.95-6.95. I suggest PWM version, but I have not had the pleasure of testing / using any of these new Arctic P fan. I am using TY-140, TY-147SQ, TY-143SQ and PH-F140MP myself.
