loads in the motors sticky.

you cant really base your opinions on what another person says, as there is so much to the quote for each person.

Insurance is different for every single person.

It depends on the following:
Your address
Your age
Your driving history (how long you've had your licence, any NCB, any claims, any convictions)
Your car
Your use of the car (commuting, business use, annual mileage)
How much a specific insurance company have paid out on people with similar circumstances as you.
What way the wind is blowing.

OK, maybe not the last one, but car insurance is something to no one can really recommend, due to the varying number of different possibilities.

The only way to ensure you have the lowest insurance quote is to contact each company individually.

With the Admiral group (Admiral, Bell, Diamond, Elephant), try adding a middle-aged female as a second driver, that may bring it down a little.

And whether you are stood on one leg whilst phoning. Its amazing how they calculate insurance, it'll change depending on the time of year.

No really, it does....

Best time to get a quote is right before their closing time over the phone. They have daily and weekly targets to meet and you'll stand in better stead of getting a decent quote.

For general cheapness, myself and my friend have found Churchill good at times. But it varies greatly even for the smaller details.

It's all about finding what works best for you. I have no problems insuring a modified Elise at 21.
