Need reccomendation for third screen; for Eyefinity

Hey Guys (And that one gal)

So I just got my 5970 yesterday, and I'm already kicking its ass, but I want to go to an eyefinity setup; The reason I got a 5970.

I already have two Asus VH222H displays, and another one would set me back £142.98 (Pixmania), plus the additional £75-80 for an Active Display port adapter.

Now for my question, do any of you have some ideas on this. Such as, should I go for the above mentioned solution or purchase a dedicated display port equiped monitor?

I've never done eyefinity, I'm certain I'm not the only one here, so any suggestions are very much welcomed.

Personally I would only want eyefinity with three identical monitors. It would be a little irritating annoying to have one screen displaying colours / shades slightly differently. No two monitors are precisely the same...

That was my thought too. Ill wait untill Sunday before I purchase anything (Still waiting on my 4870x2's to sell on ebay) and see if anyone has some input on configuring Eyefinity.

Matching the 5970 and 5870 speeds isnt to difficult, and you just have to meet at a middle ground with both. As better drivers come out, performance will increase in games supporting Xfire and the drop in performance on the 5870 will be countered.

The GTX280 was purchased for £150 about three days ago to replace a 9800GT. Dispite what many would have you beleive a 9800 series GPU is just not fast enough to run Physx on newer games such as Metro or even Crysis Warhead.

So, in basic. The GTX280 is performing a Physx Processing Unit (PPU). It allows me to play Metro 2033 for instance with advanced Physx without taking a hit on FPS. It will really come to life when I run larger Eyefinity resolutions and the Physx demand increases.
