need recommendations for PC speaker system

hi my corsair sp2500 has pretty much died the audio is very chopy and ver very low had to turn it up to max to hear it what speaker systems would every one recommend? looking for like 2 speakers with sub

How about a small D class amp, and some speakers, Wharfdale Diamond 9.0

about £250 as thats what i payed for the old setup
