Sorry, I know these threads get started all the time.

Essentially I was with Be* for 3 years and was very happy with them. Max speeds all the time, and even though our network (5 people) were iPlayer/ITV/C4OD etc. junkies we could still do what we wanted irrespective of the time of the day. There was no capping, no instigating a stupid 'fair use' policy and found the performance unwavering even at peak times.

However having moved I've found out that Be*'s not in the area, and by word of mouth alone I can't find a reliable equivalent which was around £13/month.

We have a Sky Package here so am thinking of joining their free broad band service but don't know what it's like. I don't have an 02 number but do have an Orange PAYG number. BT with all their adverts appear to be a good option but are just under double the price. Zen don't do an unlimited package. Virgin Media appear to have a lot of issues.

Can you guys suggest anything else please? Thanks in advance.

The following services are available in your location:
BT Wholesale ADSL
BT Wholesale ADSL Max
Orbital / VFast Wireless
Virgin Media (Cable)

As expected no LLU unfortunately. :(

This was my old area :

BT Wholesale ADSL
BT Wholesale ADSL Max
BT Wholesale SDSL
AOL LLU
O2 / Be LLU
Bulldog LLU
TalkTalk (CPW) LLU
Sky Broadband / Easynet LLU
Tiscali LLU
Tiscali TV (via Tiscali LLU)
Orange LLU (Formerly Wanadoo)
Virgin Media (Cable)

That's the trouble, I've heard they cap and suffer a lot at peak times. We also have a BT line and would prefer to still use the phone and let the DSL come through a filter. Getting Virgin would entail getting the £11.99 phone line too. All in all not keen on it.
