Hi,

I'm after a second monitor to complement my 27" 2560x1440 U2713H monitor.

It will be on a vesa wall arm, possibly in portrait orientation.

My primary concern is getting one that matches (as close to possible) the colours of my current display.

Ideally I'd get a second Dell display but they are bloody expensive so a cheaper alternative would be what I'm after.

I've been looking at the cheap Korean 1440p panels and they look bloody good, but am wondering if there will be a big difference in colour reproduction when using along side the Dell.

Any thoughts/suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks :)

you will need to make sure you buy a wide gamut model as the second screen, otherwise there's no way the two will look at all similar if it's a standard gamut screen (unless you're running in sRGB mode on the U2713H). may be limited in terms of picking up a "cheap" model though if you want a modern wide gamut screen

I see.
If I switch the U2713H to sRGB (if the difference bugs me), would the colours match on both monitors?

I was thinking of getting the LG 23EA63V as they are IPS panels & quite cheap.
