So stupidly I went ahead and attempted to overclock my pc. Which failed and wouldn't load up It got to the first screen then shut down, so I've heard to reset the bios i just need to put a jumper on the 2 pins on mobo, done that and now nothing. It won't even power on. Someone please help :/

when you did the jumper reset for the Bios you did put it back as it was ? and pushed it all the way on ? remember the center pin is alway connected and the jumper sits on 2 pins in the run state aswell as the rest state.

There was no jumper there, I had to get one from an old Hard drive, there's only 2 pins to put the jumper on, input it on, tried to power on and got nothing, took it off and still nothing.

Gigabyte p55mud2, it switches on now but goes into either windows repair or start windows normally, i choose normally it shuts down and restarts, message comes up something about Sata drive do i want bios to something or other (only appears for a second)
Upon second restart i have to go into bios settings and choose run fail safe settings then exit and save and it shuts down and goes back to repair or normal startup, after i select normal it starts windows, have I ruined the bios completely?

Ahh thanks working perfectly now. Along with the motherboard i stated above I have an intel i5 750 with amd radeon hd5750 is there anyway I can OC to something like 3.2ghz as I'm only getting 2.66 ATM.
