Need software for my IP Camera, usual stuff wont work ?

hmm well i got webcam 7 (latest version) hit pro trial and had restart it so webcam would work and it loaded up as free again and no trial button :(, I cant believe it, couldnt even just try it out and its like £80 to buy ? :O why did it not let me have a trial ?! :(
 
Bit of a pain then :/. Probably won't work but have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling it?



Have you got a spare Linux machine / can you be bothered to set-up a Linux virtual machine (you can download a pre-setup copy of Virtualbox)? If so ZoneMinder is free and is meant to be pretty good.

There goes your Christmas :p.

edit: looks like ZoneMinder has a LiveCD which would make life easier too.
 
These FY588 cameras are not great quality, but they are cheap! I run 2 of them with Gadwatch software by setting the camera type to Vivotek mjpeg.
