My new laptop doesn't allow me to change the bass and treble settings. I use a good pair of headphones that have blown my ears off with bass in the past, so that's not the problem.

Anyone know any software?
Thanks

Depends what music playing software you use. I.e Winamp, Windows Media Player etc. All of these will come with an inbuilt software 'graphics equaliser' or even a seperate bass slider. Just have a look round the settings or use the help menu. You running Vista? you should have a universal sound control panel which will apply the setting across the machine rather than just the music player....Hope that makes sense!

Use the equaliser. The bars on the left are lower frequency (bass), and the bars on the right are higher frequencies (treble).

Or just use SRS TruBass in Windows Media Player.
