Hi
Have a project planned, I want to build my own PC desk (from wood) to fit over a cut into the room where the stairwell intrudes.
Before I go spending on bits and pieces, I started trying to plan things on graph paper to visualise it all, but then got thinking this may be possible to do on some kind of 3D software package.
What I need is some software which is easy to use and will allow me to model the dimensions of the room, then within that play around with wood shapes to try out ideas...
(I googled this (truespace) http://www.bookshelfboyfriend.com/articles.php?article_id=177 which seems it will possibly do the job but is a bit expensive!
Is there any other software out there which will do this job and which is simple to use and fairly cheap?
Thanks, Neill
