Need some 80mm PWM fans

The 120's werent too bad tbh, though i had them on a fan controller where they were only turned up for gaming. I wish i could source a few of them again as im not that impressed with the cooling ability of the alpenfohn red clovers i have now. I run all my case and cooler fans via PWM splitters from the cpu fan headers, keeps noise down at idle.

Like yourself, i have a red/black theme in my case, but it's hard to find good PWM fans in theese colours. System below.

Most 80mm fans are noisy, unfortunately. Your best bet is probably to get some quietish ones and mod them in some tasteful way.

I'm using these Noiseblockers - they're doing a great job: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-037-NB&groupid=701&catid=2331&subcat=819

I'm not sure the material would really lend itself to a paint job, though. It's a bit smooth. You could try it with BeQuiet's Silent Wings 2 or Noctua's NF-R8 (which is sort of red, actually).

Just to chime in about 80mm fans being load. I have got 2 of the Coolink SWiF2-80P running at 12v ( ran out of reducers ), and they are quiet, all my other fans are at 7v ( 120/ 140 ) Akasa vipers and I can't hear them at all. I had a 12 to 7 v reducer on order but I've cancelled it now as it is not needed.

They do look nice, but still need them in red and black.

On another note, while searching the website for other fans available, what do you think of these?

Do you think they would suite a black & red themes Parvum build or should I stick with the Bitfenix Spectra pro's?
