A few questions...

1)Need a new graphics card. Going for a 7800GT, but wehich one would you recomend. I like the leadtech ones, but is there much difference between the basic one and the extreme one?

2)With all this what size psu would I need? Been looking around and Im thinking about an enermax but I dont really want to get more power than I need (trying to watch the budget)

Any help is appreciated!

With the 7800GTs, they're all based on the reference GT, so whichever you get, it'll all function the same, just some are pre-clocked at higher frequencies. The Leadtek ones are pretty cheap, just head for one of those if you like the look of them. Many have managed to overclock them to "extreme" speeds.

PSU wise, you could always go for the Enermax 600W PSU on offer at "This Week Only"... :) £10 off the price I believe, but there are others as you say which are at a slightly cheaper price, take a look at the 500W series PSU offered by Enermax or the Hiper perhaps?

Would 500watt be enough for this system? If I were to go for sli in the future or a x2 processor would I need to upgrade the psu as well?

A 500w PSU from a decent brand should just about cope with SLi although that does slightly depend on what else you put into the system but I'd always prefer to go for too much power as opposed to too little.

Extreme Editions are just pre-'speed-bumped' it gives you a guaranteed overclock but many standard cards will reach those sort of speeds anyway.

You could also change the DVDRW for either an NEC 4551 or a Pioneer 110 as I think both are a little better. Other than that it looks fine.

Cool thanks for the info about the gphx.

Anyone know if this psu is any good?
Hiper HPU-4K580-MK Type R 580W Modular ATX2.2 PSU - Black UV (CA-005-HP)
