Recently I've been trying to play BF4 with outdated hardware. Here's my current specs:
AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 620 @2.60GHz
GeForce 560Ti Hawk Edition
(I'm not certain on my mobo, only that it's an MSI AM3 ready board)
4.0GB RAM (3.25 GB USABLE)
32-bit Windows 7 Home Premium
2 x 250GB IDE (lol) Seagate Hdd's
Most of this is outdated tech purely because I've not paid a penny for the whole build since it was given to me by a clueless friend. Anyway it's obvious that I need a 64-bit copy of windows 7, then I need to upgrade my RAM to around 8GB. Of course I need to get rid of those awful Hdd's to a faster sata Hdd. What do you think about the processor though? It's decent but outdated by now I'm assuming? The only issue I have with this is possibly having to change the motherboard to an AM3+ socket, what do you think?
I think the graphics card will last me a couple of years. All in all there's a lot that needs changing but it would be worth it since I'll be using it for the many programs Adobe CS offers, while playing games alongside my work.
