Need some advice on storage

Looking for some more storage say up to 500 gig and no more than 60GBP which is better for the price/performance/security/reliable internal or external drive ?

please recormend me a particular model aswell ?

As far as I know THIS drive is good although you could spend more on a smaller drive such as THIS for improved specs i assume.

But apart from that it appears to be quite difficult to spend more than £60 on a 500GB drive.
