Hey guys, first off, I am a massive noob when it comes to the hardware of a PC so looking for some advice on whether or not I am choosing the right upgrades and what else I should have. Not looking to Overclock just yet just in case I break anything.

I got a custom rig about 2ish years ago now and want to improve it.

Current rig:
Case - PCS MAELSTROM T900 BLACK GAMING CASE
CPU - Intel® Core™i7-2700k Quad Core (3.50GHz, 8MB Cache) + HD Graphics
Motherboard - ASUS® P8Z77-V LX: USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs, ATI®CrossFireX
Memory (RAM) - 16GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz, X.M.P (4 x 4GB KIT)
GPU - 1GB AMD RADEON™ HD7750
Memory - Hard Disk 1TB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD1002FAEX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE (7200rpm)
DVD/BLU-RAY Drive - 24x DUAL LAYER DVD WRITER ±R/±RW/RAM
Memory Card Reader - INTERNAL 52 IN 1 CARD READER (XD, MS, CF, SD, etc) + 1 x USB 2.0 PORT
Power Supply - CORSAIR 650W ENTHUSIAST SERIES™ TX650 V2-80 PLUS® BRONZE
Processor Cooling -SUPER QUIET 22dBA TRIPLE COPPER HEATPIPE INTEL CPU COOLER

The upgrades I am looking at right now are;
Case - BitFenix Colossus Blue & Red LED Big Tower Case
SSD - Samsung 250GB SSD 840 EVO
GPU - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 WindForce 3x "GHz Edition" 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Power Supply - Corsair Builder Series CX 750W

Just looking to know if I have enough power, cooling abnd just overall the best choices in upgrades.

Thanks

I don't see any reason to change your current psu unless it is giving you problems ? A 650W will power that lot fine.

I would also look at getting a better cooler for when you do decide to overclock. The K2 mount doom is currently on offer at £49 which is a great price.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Alpenföhn K2 Mount Doom CPU Cooler £49.99
Total : £59.59 (includes shipping : £8.00).

I wasn't too sure on the PSU, I just assumed I would have to upgrade it a little to run everything smoothly, I have had no problems with it so far. Cooling is my main concern as I'm not sure how the airflow is with the case I want and I know it only comes with 2 stock fans.

I should`nt think you would have any cooling issues in that case. As long as there is good ventilation in the room and no restrictions around the case, it will be fine.

The 2 stock fans can always be swapped out if they are rubbish :D I have a Bitfenix case (Raider) and the stock fans are not anything special, although they are quiet.

Well just had a look at my PSU and it does have 2 PCI-E connectors so thing I will just stick with that and save myself £75, thanks man. Think I will test it out and once I buy it all and see how the temperatures are running and go from there. Thanks for the help guys.
