Need some advice regarding cable organisation

Just ordered a new Mobo and CPU and I am also planning on finally getting my case organised once I have taken everything out, I have a few questions though.

Do I need an individually braided cable kit? currently have a modular PSU and the cables are all together in big clumps, will individual braiding make a difference? If so what kit is popular?

What other gear do people use most often when organizing their cases? my NZXT case has a cable management compartment and I have a bunch of cable ties but will I need cable clamps too? anything else I might find useful?

Thanks

Which case do you have? Most have some space behind the motherboard tray that you can use to hide cables.

Some pictures of your current setup would help :)

It does depends on your case, individually sleeved cables can make things look cleaner, but it takes a lot of effort to do it yourself, the ones corsair sell are a good alternative. I'm not a fan of the extension cables as it means you have more cables to hide.

As far as cable management is concerned i like to use these:

I have the NZXT Phantom, I'll try and post pics once I have my Mobo and CPU installed. I'm about to leave for work right now so a little pressed for time.

you mean these corsair ones? I have a Seasonic PSU, I assume that it's fully compatible with non corsair PSU's?

I know seasonic make the corsair PSU's but I'm not sure that those cables would be compatible with a seasonic PSU, maybe someone else can confirm either way!

According to this, the pinout is different so i would not use them.

Give davido labido (a guy on the forums who does great cable braiding work) a shout, i think he does full kits as well as extensions.
