hi,

I'd like some input on the following games i'm considering getting.

Need for speed shift... how close is this to the RACE series in terms of realism and whats the mp like, how many in a race? popularity?

borderlands... how does the mp work? is it like L4D where you just join 3 other people?

dragon age... i dont really go for rpg's but i want something different to the usual games(fps's and racing) i play, is there a lot of action in it or will i be messing with menu's more?

I'm getting abit bored with cod and l4d so is there anything else good out at the mo that i've missed.

cheers.

Try Torchlight, its on Steam for £15. Its an RPG, very easy to get into and play - a lot like Diablo.

Ill probably get it as soon as i finished DA:O.

Damn, I wasn't gonna spend any more money this month, either. DA:O is a lot more involved, you'll probably spend more time paused in battles than letting them play out, unless you take the time to set up solid tactics - even then, the system's not perfect. However, content-wise it's the best SP value for money you're likely to see.

cheers guys,

the only rpg's i've tried are oblivion and fallout3 which i got bored of, i'd really like to get it to them so i'll think i'll give dragon age ago if i can find it cheap enough.

Any thoughts on the other 2 games or anyother game?

DA:O is £15 atm and instock - cant say where I don't think due to all this "competitor" malarkey... Google it ;) Very tempted myself.
