Need some advise CON ARTIST WEBSITE!

always use a credit card online - chargeback is awesome - saved me over a grand when i bought something from the US that didn't arrive and the guy wouldn't give me my money back, so my credit card company just took it from his bank - HA!

edit: i should also say i paid by paypal and they said they couldn't do anything - useless idiots. luckily i paid via credit card on paypal (something you should also always do!) so my bank just took the money back.

Next day should be next day, unless there is an actual problem. It happens, but the company mentioned haven't exactly been helpful have they?

I agree, and I said that yes they could have offered some better customer service in this situation, but creating a thread effectively saying that their entire site is a con to trick people out of money is a bit much.

This person just got unlucky with their delivery and with their service.

Wow....talk about a storm in a teacup!

"CON ARTIST WEBSITE" :D

I'd hate to see what state you would be in if you had an actual problem on your hands

Most of those negative comments seem like they were written by Muppets to be honest.

One guy moaning about buying b grade and another guy who obviously bought OEM and complained that there was no cables or manuals.

The OCUK forums should Posi-bomb those reviews and push it back up!

Sadly, some of them seem not too far fetched, dare I say, true even!

based on the rubbish info the childish op has mentioned. hardly sounds like a big deal to me and from the sounds of it pretty much any one who has read the the post and read between the lines of a stropy customer.

he complains they don't want to spend £9 delivering an item that's worth £77. does he even has a clue what profit margin they're on. course not.

Thats my guess aswell. i probably over reacted but still i think they should show there customers good customer service wich they dont.

Probably? That was a massive over reaction. Your ignorance on how business works is the problem here, not this company.

You seem angry that they can't trace the parcel, Royal Mail are reluctant to do anything until at least 2 weeks have passed since the parcel should have been delivered.

Instead of having a tantrum like an overgrown baby, you should have composed yourself and tried, you know, doing a bit of research.

When/if a parcel goes missing, both the sender and recipient are the "victims", you shouldn't expect an instant dispatch of a second parcel using Royal Mail's offensively overpriced Special Delivery service.

The only plus of Special Delivery is its insurance is higher than First Class Recorded, but other than insurance, they're the same service (except the before 1PM one) but it's cheaper to go with a next day courier which often provide a better service to both customers (sender and recipient).

If I was the seller, I wouldn't want to deal with you again if this is how you act over things.

Claiming they're con artists because they didn't do as you demanded is what you'd expect a man child to come out with.

Special Delivery and Signed For are not the same service with different insurance.

SD is sent and processed seperately from the Signed For service which is sent along with the regular 1st class mail. SD is tracked by Royal Mail at all points where as SF is only tracked at pickup from the PO and at delivery.
Also, SD only has a pre 1pm or pre 9am service, SF can be delivered at any time in line with your 1st class delivery.
