Need some basic help with Keepass

As above, i am at a stage in life now where it is becoming harder to recall passwords so i have been using lastpass which has done the job with no issues, however i do like the look of keepass and there are a few people who say its better than lastpass, thats not my concern in this post.

So with keepass am i better off installing a portable version on a usb or direct onto my pc or does it really not matter?

if i use a pass phrase as the master password for example I love burger and chips do i enter it as written including the spaces or does it need to be entered without the spaces like iloveburgerandchips?

should i also use a keyfile?

and last but not least how do i synce to google drive for example is it just a case of saving the database to google drive? i may also want to access stuff from my mobile.

get the portable version, unzip it to your cloud storage folder, use whatever password you want.

There is a plugin to sync it with Google drive

Keepass is a faff on and the integration into apps is poor. Unless you want to deal with all the setup I'd stay with lastpass.
