mates just comeround, he's added 3 12" subs fitted in the boot of his Audi S4 so just want to test em out with some real bassy music, so can anyone recomend some good gangster rap? :p

When im looking for Bass i have a cd with some Ja Rule on and one

Hate the song but

Sneaker pimps - Spin spin sugar (armands dark garage mix)

has got some crazy amounts of bass.


Also, a bit harder to find but

Benjamin Bates - Whole (Steve angello's oversized dub)

has got tonnes of bass too

Not gangster rap, but Aphex Twin has some pretty heavy bass tracks IIRC. Dre's stuff is fairly bassy. Check out Overseer - Wreckage too, that's an awesome awesome album, not immensely bassy, but great for a new sound system :D
 
I suppose you could always go for the easy option of Norman Bass - How U Like Bass, not a very good tune but it's got lots of nice swearing in it.
