need some bed slat replacements

Well I've been generally tidying the house up and completely rearranging my room. I was climbing over my bed with a hoover and put my foot though one of the slats then fell and destroyed another slat. So know I've got 2 slats broken in the middle of my bed. Can't seem to find any on-line and B&Q only had really long lengths of wood and I don't have the tools to cut it down to length.

Any ideas.

I've moved the broken slats down to where my feet are so I can at least sleep on it.

need to be 136-138cm in length.

Get some long bits from B&Q and a £2.99 hacksaw?

I've done the same thing before btw. Cheap bed + fat git standing up = *snap*.

they'll also cut it in most stores for you if you ask nicely - i spent about an hour getting some bloke to cut a huge 3m square sheet down to shelfs for me once :D generally its free for the first couple of cuts then 50p or the like afterwards
