So i'm developing my Twitch channel and want to include some really cool elements which I require some knowledge I can only assume from this area of the forums.
With Twitch there is a chat, basically an IRC server connected chat and some channels have been able to action events through people typing things in chat.
For example, there was a channel called "Twitch plays Pokemon" in which people would write in chat
"Left"
"Up"
etc
and then within a certain period of time the direction with the most mentions will apply in the game.
I want to do something similar, but need some help being pointed into the right direction how something like this could happen. I'm not necessarily looking to do the same thing, but of similar values which can get the audience involved.
Anyone got any ideas?
