I have an old computer which I used to only play source games (CSS mainly). Anyway, it's around 10 years old and now the motherboard has died and the computer is always stuck at the BIOS (tested every other part).
So, I need a new motherboard, and perhaps a new PSU, here's what I currently have:
3gb DDR2 RAM (from the old motherboard, would prefer NOT to use these)
2x4gb DDR3 RAM 1333mhz (would prefer to use these)
GT 520 Graphics card (don't want to change this)
mATX Case, so need a mATX motherboard
250W generic PSU (may need to upgrade depending on what motherboard I get)
2x 120gb hardrives which is way more than enough
AMD ATHLON 64 3800 SOCKET AM2 ADA3800IAA4CW 2.4 Ghz - This is good enough for me, also have the stock heatsink so would prefer if the motherboard allows me to use the heatsink and the same CPU.
So, which motherboard/PSU should I get? I really want to keep the price DOWN, so if there is a motherboard where I don't need to get a PSU, I would rather get that. I also REALLY don't want to upgrade the CPU as it'll just cost more and I don't need it.
