Need some CV help

Id maybe split some of the information about me out a little bit. Have a personal profile with all the experience stuff and what your learning and then have a bit about your hobbies and interestes near the end (Snowboarding etc)

Also it appears a bit heavy on the text side of things. Maybe a few bullet points to thin it out a bit. Theres loads of good experience in there with a bit of tweaking you should be a stand out candidate really with all that ;)
 
yeah, ive broken it up a bit in my latest version, and added quite a bit more info. like a whole page of more info lol
 
I am by no means an expert but here are my views:

I don't like the images/headers you are using, they just don't feel right, but if you are desperate to keep them give them some space inbetween the tables at the moment the spacing there is extremely tight.

Reverse education, and maybe even consider getting rid of information about 'Hoe Bridge School' all together as that's not adding too much in my opnion.

You don't need to list all your GCSE's, just as someone else said put:

10 GCSE's A* to A, including Mathematics (A*) and English (A).

I'd put the interests at the bottom of the CV after your professional experience.

sorry to hijack the thread

I've decided to take 1-2 years off uni to work full time and clear my debts etc
and i'm not sure if i should put this on my CV as employers are likely to want someone
more committed but if i don't i have nothing to put in for 2004-2006

whats the best thing to do?

Sorry for such a late reply on this I just wanted to know where you got the Personal information, Education, Interests and activities and Personal experiance from since I would like to get a refrences one.

Wow 2nd Cv is a serious improvement over the first. However I would get rid of the graphics, they arent necessary and distract (look a bit childish).

Also I would place your latest Education at the top, downwards. Interests at the bottom of the page and Work experience below education.

Otherwise the content is good - well done:)
 
Well I'll leave things like that out then, I won't be putting my education on top of my CV since my grades are quite poor :D

Reverse the education & work experience showing most recent first, from experience people don't care or look at anything below A Levels of equivalent.

Also, modify your opening profile to sell yourself more, what qualities you can bring to the role, etc....

I have always been a hardworking individual and have proven myself a great worker on my own and within a team. I enjoy learning and each job I’ve had has resulted in me working above the call of duty so I am always giving 110% resulting in having more responsibilities in my role.

Make the font black, not grey.

The CV is not consistent throughout. Make sure all your headings are aligned.

Put years, not yrs.

There is also a lot of wasted space.
