Hey guys,

I'm just about to start buying for my first ever PC build & need some fan advice.

I will be building a HTPC with the following main parts (Obviously Ram & stuff but these are the important parts I think ;))...

Case: Apevia Aspire X-QPACK Micro ATX
M/Board: Asus M2NPV-VM
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+

But I have no idea what fan I should get to cool the CPU

I have been advised on my HTPC build thread in general hardware to look at either the Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro or Scythe Ninja, but then I have also been told that they may not fit properly in the case :(

If thats true what cooler should I look at??
Also I obviously need it to be as quiet as possible as well.
Max budget is about the same as the Scythe Ninja so roughly £30

Any help would be appreciated as I want to start the buying frenzy this week ;) lol

Thanks in advance

Neil

If you're not overclocking it, tbh, leave the stock cooler on and then you won't have the space issue either.

AMDs are usually cool chips, just make sure you've got a good air flow in your case.
