I think it will. I hope you didn't buy the iPad from that eglobal site though. It looks to be in Hong Kong and has bad reviews.

i did and it arrived yesterday - US charger so Grey Import, but it's original and £100 cheaper than the UK.

I don't think it will fit. The 2017 iPad is thicker than the Air2/Pro.

Correct, although it's possible to use an Air1 case, even though some of the cutouts have moved slightly (not enough to stop buttons/camera operation though).
