My gaming life is a mess.

I'm used to playing Quake 3 based games such as Quake 3, Star trek Elite force 1 and 2. I also enjoy playing Bridge commander.

At the moment I'm playing WoW and I'm now a Level 5, its OK but not that fun/fast paced as Quake based games.

I also play Star trek online, which I enjoy in moderation, it has the Ground and space stuff but its a little too expensive.

I also downloaded Crysis 2 and had a go, and completed it, but I didn't enjoy it and never went back to it again.

But I'm now starting to tire of all these games as I've completed them and I'm not too sure about getting quake 4, is it good?

What games should I get, BF3, COD, Skyrim? Do they compare to the Quake 3 style of play, something that I grew up with. Its very fast paced and the multiplayer is so much fun, but hardly anyone I know goes on it anymore.

Sorry for waffling on!

Quake 4 is not worth playing.
Skyrim is awesome but doesn't have MP.
CoD and BF are also pretty good but are fairly different from each other, but if you're looking for the faster paced gameplay, then try CoD.

I'm stuck for games to play as well. Think I'm going to go and play through Far Cry again as it's one of my faves.

I still play a bit of Quake 3 (Capturestrike), its just comfortable territory.

Hated Quake Live, a complete cheater's paradise!

Bought Battlefield 3, and hopefully I'll be able to play it one day (need an OS upgrade)

Ah, actually I do play one other game - If you haven't played Left For Dead 2, that's a barrell of laughs! Can be had for very cheap now too.

Single player - Skyrim, Batman Arkham City and Terraria.

Multiplayer - TF2, L4D2 (try and join a clan), Dungeon Defenders (watched my friend play this the other day and it looks like great fun and it is very fast paced) and Killing Floor.

All cheap or F2P except of Skyrim and Batman 8)

You need gaming advice URGENTLY? Why....fingers gonna fall off if not gracing a mouse and keyboard soon? Daer oh dear... *tut tut*

I probably could play those. As for wow It took me time to get used to the layout, didn't know what all the spell's and stuff were, just took me time to adjust.

But I was looking for a more mainstream game. Something that isn't an MMO.

Whats wrong with Quake 4?

Wasn't even made by id and I doubt anyone still plays it.
